*Repair only* Sealing Rubber R611 for Econoline Series Portlights (per meter) - 89.60.06.11

PLEASE NOTE: As the Econoline Series has been discontinued, the preformed seals are no longer produced or available.  It is not possible to purchase the seal by the meter to do a full seal replacement.  

The seal will not bend around corners properly as it is too thick.  This product may not solve your problem, and we strongly recommend upgrading to current model portlight like the Standard Series.

If you have a damaged piece on the seal that is not at a corner, you may attempt to cut out the damaged part and replace with a new piece of this seal.  

You would do this by:

Remove the old seal and cut out the damaged part.  Reinsert the old seal, and insert the new sealing rubber in the new gap as far as possible to cut to the correct length Remove the seals and glue the ends together to complete the seal.  

Gebo recommends Loctite SF 770 Primer and Loctite 424 adhesive, as this is what is used at the factory.  A similar quality silicone compatible primer and adhesive would be able to be substituted.

Once the adhesive has fully cured based on the adhesive's instructions, reinsert the sealing rubber into the portlight with the seam side up.
