Insert the seal into the hatch all the way around in order to cut to the correct length. Remove the seal then and glue the ends together to complete the seal.
Gebo recommends Loctite SF 770 Primer and Loctite 424 adhesive, as this is what is used at the factory. A similar quality silicone compatible primer and adhesive would be able to be substituted.
Once the adhesive has fully cured based on the adhesive's instructions, reinsert the sealing rubber into the hatch.
